The 2007 Advanced Technology Summit: Applied Cyberinfrastructure for Innovation was held in Columbus, Ohio, May 1, 2007. The AT Summit was established to link industry, academic and government professionals to forge a vision for the use of exciting new technologies.
This year’s focus was on the exciting development of the region’s cyberinfrastrucure. This annual conference was held to help foster collaboration and to showcase new applications of the cyberinfrastructure in every field of science, industry, government and academia.
Several organizations participated in the conference as sponsors. This was an opportunity for companies and organizations to reach out to high-level industry, government and academic visionaries. The conference schedule was arranged so that attendees could network with our sponsors to learn more about their products and/or services.
Approximately 100 decision-makers attended the first Summit, in addition to those who accessed the Summit remotely. This gave organizations the opportunity to network with a large majority of industry, government, and university professionals from all over the world.
The awards ceremony took place the evening of May 1 to celebrate the region’s achievements in developing leading technologies, innovations and applications. |
